Doulas pay a 5% transaction fee for client payments processed on the platform. ‍Of this fee, 2.9% goes to Stripe to cover secure payment processing. The remainder goes to Between to maintain and improve the platform.

Does Between help with scheduling? Payments?

Between will help you schedule client consultations, draft contracts, and process client payments. You'll receive payments via direct deposit, eliminating the hassle of chasing payments or managing multiple payment methods. While Between handles these logistics, you maintain complete control over your availability, services offered, and pricing.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. Between allows you to determine your pricing for package and a la carte services.

Does Between require specific certifications?

Between does not require specific certifications. Between welcomes birthworkers with various backgrounds, training, and professional experience. We ask that you list your specific certifications, education, and experience on your profile so families can learn more about you. Transparency about your qualifications can help build trust with potential clients.

Does Between offer refunds?

Refund policies for services are set by individual birthworkers and should be clearly outlined in their service agreements. Clients are encouraged to review these service agreements before accepting and paying.
